Well, that's not good.

Emma stares at the doorknob, fingers hesitating above the sparking purple and silver swirls that surround it. Her palm heats the closer she gets. Emma grits her teeth and takes a step back, glaring at the light flickering above her. She thought they were getting better.

They'd fought Pan and won. Henry was home safe now. Sure, maybe he was a little more withdrawn and introspective, but hey, Emma wasn't going to push him. Kid just spent way too long in a cage in a forest run by a psychopath. If he wanted to be quiet, she wasn't going to make him spill his guts to her.

But that didn't explain why Regina suddenly wanted nothing to do with either of them.

Or why she decided that locking the door wasn't enough to keep people out.

"Drop the act, Regina."

Regina could feel the crackle of her magic as Emma came nearer to the door. She sighed softly, resting her head in her arms. She knew better than to think that Emma would be one to leave well enough alone.

"What act? I'm not acting Ms. Swan," Regina said switching to the more formal greeting she used back when they first met.

Regina huffed out a laugh. It wasn't a funny laugh however, it was a bitter, angry laugh. "There is nothing that Henry could do that would make me lock the door Swan.

She was growing tired of this game, however, she was just plain tired. She flicked her hand and the door opened before Emma could touch the knob.

She was still sitting on the floor when the door opened.
